News : RESPECT the kids
Linco's Walk the Talk Award Scheme 2009 came to a musical finale with young rappers and dancers today Friday 6th November. Sandyland's Community Primary School in Morecambe winners of this year's Walk the Talk performed their RESPECT song to a packed audience including Lancaster's Mayor Clr Roger Sherlock and the Mayoress Mrs Ethel Sherlock, Linco personnel, the school, governors and councillors today.
The children gave a fantastic performance of their song and dance which has now been recorded and filmed ready to be rolled out. The school will use the money they have won from Linco to make a DVD of their production which will be used to roll out the project across the area.

Respect was chosen by the children and project managed by the children and is undoubtedly a resounding success making it onto local radio (and who knows - Christmas number one....)
Colin Carruthers Managing Director of Linco said "it was a privilege to present the cheque to such a talented and enthusiastic group of children"
Walk the Talk 2010 will target Youth & Community Groups. For more information contact Wyn Abbot on wyn@linco-comms.co.uk
