News : We have a Winner to RESPECT!
Sandylands Primary School in Morecambe are the successful winners of the 2009 Walk the Talk Award being run by Linco Communications Ltd in conjunction with Lancaster City Council. The Primary school who are singing all the way will be using some of the award money to record their RESPECT song which will they will spread across the region.
The pupils chose RESPECT as a theme and have designed posters and badges encouraging people to treat others and their community with more respect and dignity. The school are working with an organisation called Moremusic to record their song. The school will receive their award at a special assembly in November www.sandylands.lancsngfl.ac.uk
The school will receive £1,000
